There are many wonderful winter sports areas close to Bears Crossing.

• With more than 80 trails spread across 600+ acres of skiable terrain, Mount Snow is less than a mile away. There is a shuttle bus to transport Bears Crossing owners and their guests to/from the Main Mountain base area.
  
• Approximately 16 miles away, Stratton Mountain boasts more than 670 acres of skiable terrain.
• With 39 trails and 11 glades and tubing runs, Magic Mountain is about 30 miles away.
• About 48 miles away, Vail-owned Okemo Mountain Resort offers 121 trails, slopes, and glades, and 98% snowmaking coverage of its terrain.
• There are also several cross country skiing areas in southern Vermont, including Prospect Mountain in Woodford and Viking Nordic Center in Londonderry.
